Intentional work
It is quieter than most people think.

I imagine intentionality as a landscape working together.
a stream feeding the willow tree,
the willow casting shade over the water,
and the grass along the banks protecting the soil, gently filtering what flows through.

They work together specifically and intentionally to produce something.

It produces healthy soil, filtered water, and a place where things can flourish.

To create intentionally looks like that to me.

I imagine creating this way.

A moment with a loved one that nobody else saw,
Tears of joy falling down someone’s cheek,
or a quiet lift of a smile while the groom sees his bride that says everything.

All of these moments, woven together intentionally, produce something.
It produces a day marking a covenant of marriage, a feeling that can never quite be recreated, and a space where love is seen and remembered.

And that becomes a landscape for me to create
a place where the story of the day can quietly take root and live on.

A place where the smallest moments matter, where the quiet details shape the feeling of the whole day,
and where what is filmed is not just what you saw,
but how it felt to be there.

That is the intention I carry with me as I film your day.

An Invitation to be intentional
